There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar:
I love not Man the less, but Nature more

(Lord Byron)

I was born in Sardinia in 1971, the land where I grew up and still live; I took my first steps in the dark room in the early 90s, but, thanks to the advent of digital camera, I began to focus my attention on the landscape in 2009.

Graduate in economics, but always with an eye to the nature of my wild and fascinating island. I escape most urbanized areas in search for uncontaminated places. Through the sensitivity of my pure images I managed to capture or even unveil the beauty of the territory I choose to the observe and discover every time.

Today more than ever, our planet is in danger: with my pictures I aim at raising public awareness on this subject. I firmly believe that care and preservation of the environment that surrounds us start precisely from the appreciation of its beauty and with the ability to look at landscapes with different eyes.

Actually my most important projects is “WildSardinia”: the story of a team of four international photographers that wants to resume Sardinia in images and video, telling the landscapes, the seasons and the lights of this exceptional island.

I received awards such as the “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” in the category “Earth Environments”, the first prize in the “Magnificent Wilderness” category at the Glanzlichter competition and several other international awards.
